I think you can't pursue Computer Science because it is a Science stream course. You can go for CA if you are interested in accounting ormay go for IIM if you are interested in management or business studies.
On the other hand, IAS is most difficult but if you are interested in extensive study and are a seeker of knowledge, you may go for this.
So all of the courses totally depend on your field of interest.
Your percentage is good, so you can be admitted in a reliable course which you want to do.
However, universities have some other criteria, so it varies. All the best.

Hello Snehdeep,
It's indeed nice to see that you are getting admission in Thapar in your desired branch. For becoming an IAS officer, you need to pass civil service exam, for which being a graduate is a must. So if you study well during four years at Thapar, it'll actually add up to preparation for IAS. Best wishes.

Hi Divyanshu,
In order to become a police officer, you will need to appear for IPS exam. For that, a candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree from any of the universities recognised by the UGC or possess an equivalent qualification. Discipline of graduation has not been mentioned by the UPSC so you can opt for graduation in any field that interests you.

Just be an avid reader of "The Hindu"
3 years before you plan to give exams start coaching. Choose your optional subject B4 hand so that you don't have to mug up just before the exam. If you are going to give exam next year, then you should start right now. Join coaching but if you can study by yourself, go to market and but books and give time to every subjects.

Hi Himanshu!
No college provides coaching for IAS. You need to prepare for it either through self-study or you can take coaching classes for the same. If you're interested to pursue some integrated degree, you can consider these universities that offer integrated courses:
Amity University
Manav Rachna University
Christ University
Jaipur National University
GITAM University
Lovely Professional University.

You can only give IAS exam, once you have done your graduation. For that, you have to qualify your class 12th exam too. So, first you have to clear your supplementary exam, then only you can go for IAS after your graduation. All the best.
