In order to get into intelligence bureau, you will have to appear for IB ACIO exam after graduation. You can pursue graduation in any field but, it will be great if you do it in a computer-related field as candidates who possess a good computer knowledge are preferred.

No. The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years (for the General category candidate) on August 1 of the year of examination. Prescribed age limits vary with respect to caste reservations
For Other Backward Castes (OBC) the upper age limit is 35
For Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), the limit is 37 years. The upper age limit is relaxed for certain candidates who are backward with respect to other factors and differently able.

No, you are not forced to know Hindi. You can speak in English, as it is most preferred instead of your mother tongue, because when the translator translates, the meaning is not conveyed in proper way as you said.

It's an misconception every stream has its own value. Their is definitely nothing to degrade any stream. After B.A. I suggest you to choose Academy for IAS studies and this will help you get into the right line in the future. If your preparing for IAS start studying from today itself, that will help you complete syllabus at the earliest. It's totally depend upon you if you like math physics, chemistry, go for B.Sc. Otherwise, you can move in B.A. It will help out to come over from Political Science sociology. All these subjects will help you as IPS Aspirants.

Hi,
I understand, you have a lot of passion to become an IAS officer, to make it clear as you know we require basic requirement to qualify for IAS exams is Under Graduation degree in any stream. After the course completion, you have to enroll yourself to any the nearest IAS coaching academy and they will direct you to register and enroll for IAS exams.
