You should opt for arts in HSC. You can pursue BA in graduation as BA will be the right option and once you complete BA, you can start preparing for IPS, you will definitely get through the exams if you really work hard.

There is no particular educational qualification, it will vary according to different positions in various PSU organizations at different levels. But broadly, we can assume that graduation would be the minimum standard needed to join them.

For Assistant Conservator of Forest Post : Candidate should have done Bachelors Degree in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geology, Forestry, Statics or Bachelors Degree in Agriculture/ Bachelors Degree in Engineering from recognized University.
For Range Forest Officer Post : Candidate should have done Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Forestry, Geology, Agriculture, Statistics, Horticulture and Environment or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized University.

The eligibility to join Indian Army through NDA is as follows:
The candidates who wants to apply for Indian Army must have completed 12th or its equivalent exam from a well-recognized board.
