Yes, obviously. At some point or the other, it will help you. Doon Business School, Dehradun offers PGDM Global course. The students are also taken for foreign tours and placements have been really been gearing up.

Yes, the minimum placements start at 12 LPA for students of all or any specialization. The placements usually happen at least 6 months before the completion of the course.
Human Resource Management is one of the sought out branches by the students with companies like Jaro, Hilton, Royal Orchid and the likes offering internships and placements.
Even SAP is available in the module called the human capital management, thus, HR students have great opportunities.

Both fields are equally good, it depends on what you are interested in, HR is basically the management of employees and workers, that is recruitment and selection of employees and their well being and fulfilling their grievances, etc. Whereas logistics and supply chain management is the management of goods and services, row materials, inventory control, etc.

I would suggest you to go for a regular MBA though distance MBA also works well for those who are on their highest of their career.

PGDM is a Diploma course, through which you are given a certificate by the institute or recognised university. So PGDM is a 2 years course, and basically you can surely go for Ph.D. But be careful that you are allowed to go for Ph.D. when you do your PGDM from an AICTE recognised college. The best option for is to get a PGDM course from Iims (Indian Institute of Management). You are only eligible to do Ph.D. when you come with your PGDM Course from an AICTE approved college.
