MBA HR salary for freshers varies from Rs 5 Lakhs per annum to Rs 15+ Lakhs per annum depending on ranking of BSchool and student Performance in MBA academics, GDPI and summer training performance . Highest salaries for legacy IIM and XLRI students and Tier III B-Schools students get lower end salaries.

Generally, same entrance tests are for all the branches of MBA in most of the institutes. You have to give first preference as MBA in HR while you are applying an application. If your communication skills is good enough, you can tolerate pressure and you are passionate to resolve stress of the people than you go for MBA in HR.

Hi Ravindra, PGDM at IMT Hyderabad with HR is a good choice to consider. All the students with HR specialization are placed in 2015-2017 batch. Though CTC is not calculated on specialization basis, the average CTC of the whole batch is Rs 6.66 lakhs. Please have a look at the whole placement report on IMT,Hyderabad's website.
