Hello! PK Tutorials, it's very difficult to guess. In addition, by the time a student passes out after four years, situation could change drastically. But be assured that the best of the teachers are recruited by IIT's. Best wishes to you.

IITs are surely the dream of millions. But it is a general misconception that IITs are for only B.Tech and M.Tech courses. A candidate who has completed his/her B.Sc can also get admission in the IITs for the masters. For this, they have to qualify the IIT JAM exam.
The IIT JAM is conducted each year for those who want to get admission in the IITs after their B.Sc in the courses like physics, maths, chemistry, biological sciences etc.

A placement is a programme available to most students that involves taking a year out from studying at university and going out into the big wide world to get some all important work experience. They last a full academic year, and are available across all sectors.

No, it's not possible for you to get a degree before you clear all your backlogs. You should clear all the subject exams in a stipulated time mentioned by the university. Once you clear them successfully you will get your degree.

Hello Subbu Krishna, aah. I can understand your angst and the anxiety about selection of mist suitable course. It's of course the right thing to do. Coming to these two courses at two different IIT's, I feel that the one in Guwahati may encompass more areas and hence you will gain knowledge in these areas. Hence I would like to recommend this course. However other course is not bad. It's good too. Best wishes to you.
