 IIT Kanpur cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the MSc course and its various specialisations based on the IIT JAM entrance exam. The cutoff was published for different All India categories in the form of opening and closing ranks. 

 IIT Kanpur MSc cutoff 2026 for all categories ranged from 57 to 3515. Students can refer to the table below to know the category-wise cutoff.

IIT Guwahati cutoff 2024 has been released across various specialisations in the form of opening and closing ranks. IIT Guwahati MSc cutoff 2024 ranged between, 75 and 310 for the General AI category candidates, wherein, the top courses with the highest ranks needed were MSc in Mathematics and Computing (75), MSc in Mathematics (193), and MSc in Chemistry (267). For a detailed IIT Guwahati branch-wise cutoff 2024, candidates can refer to the table below for the Last Round cutoff. The cutoff mentioned below is for the General category under the AI Quota.

IIT Delhi MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein, JAM in Economics is the most competitive specialsiation with a closing rank of 9 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is M.Sc.in Biological Sciences with a cutoff rank of 488. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc course must secure a rank upto 488 to be eligible for IIT Delhi 

IIT Delhi admissio to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates in the JAM 2024 Merit List based on JAM 2024 scorecard will be eligible to apply for admission. &

The IIT Indore MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein, M.Sc. in Biotechnology is the most competitive specialisation with a closing rank of 48 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is  MSc in Physicswith a cutoff rank of 404. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc courses must secure a rank up to 404 to be eligible for IIT Indore. 

IIT Indore admission to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by the IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates on the JAM 2024 merit list based on M.Sc score card will be eligibile for admission.

IIT Roorkee MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein, M.Sc. in Economics is the most competitive specialisation with a closing rank of 27 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive MSc course is JAM a cutoff rank of 210. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc course must secure a rank upto 210 to be eligible for IIT Gandhinagar. 

IIT Roorkee admission to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates in the JAM 2024 Merit List based on JAM 2024 scorecard will be eligible to apply for admission.

In Round 1 of IIT Kharagpur admission, the minimum and maximum ranks required for admission ranged between 74 to 239 for General AI category. However, students must check which MSc specialisations are available with a cutoff rank of 100 and below, as cutoff ranks differ for various specialisations, ranks, and categories. The table below contains the closing ranks in IIT JAM for the MSc admissions at IIT Kharagpur:

Yes, you are eligible to go for Biotechnology at IIT JAM. This is because maths is not a compulsary subject for Biotechnology. Thus, prepare well to get into IIT JAM. All the best.

At the time of registration applicants should write their name as filled in JAM application form. However, during document verification process candidates can give an affidavit on INR 50/- Stamp Paper stating that the two names belong to the same person and if found false at any stage then his/her seat in CCMN counselling will be cancelled.

Students can check the experience of previous year students who gave IIT JAM exam:

Khushi: IIT JAM Biotechnology exam difficulty level was moderate. In Biology questions from Immunology, Genetics, Recombinant DNA Technology topics were asked. In sections, i.e., NAT, both from physics and mathematics questions were asked. Section A and B was comparatively easy than Section C.

Sudarshan: IIT JAM Economics subject exam difficulty level was easier than last year. Some direct questions were asked from liquidity preference money supply and few were asked from consumer and supplier chain product.

As of previous year, the Biotechnology paper was also of moderate to tough difficulty level. A few questions were direct and easy to answer. Molecular Biology and Cell Biology had the maximum number of questions. A few questions were really easy to answer while some required theoretical knowledge. Molecular Biology and Cell Biology had the maximum number of questions.
