Cutoffs change every year. Previous year for general category, the overall cut-off was 97%ile with 91%ile in each section.
The cut-offs show how niche NITIE is, but just to get things in perspective, NITIE is one of the best colleges in supply chain and operations in India, arguably the best at that. For 2016, the highest package was 37 LPA and the average package being 16 LPA. Chances are if you are an above average student at NITIE, you can easily bag 20 LPA paycheque. I'm not in a position to compare these two courses. About PGDISEM, this is a niche course about Industrial Safety and Environment Management. This course is available in very few colleges in India. Once you are into this, it would be a bit difficult for you to change the stream for work later. Companies are focusing a lot on these aspects of Industrial safety and there's a high demand for such students. Placement record is 100% for PGDISEM in NITIE.

NITIE offers multiple courses, which you can get through CAT (PGDIM and PGDISEM) and GATE (PGDIE, PGDPM and PGDMM). In terms of profile, NITIE requires a good academic record and an exceptional CAT/GATE score. Rest all depends on the personal interview. Which course are you exactly looking for?
