The the highest domestic package offered to the MBA batch 2024-26 during placement drive 2026 was INR 71.4 LPA. Top 50 percentile students received average package of 34.5 LPA.

Earlier, the the highest package offered during the IIM Mumbai placements 2025 was INR 54 LPA as per the media reports. There were 100% placements this season.

Moreover the highest package offered during the placement drive 2024 was INR 54 LPA. In total,  180 companies took part during the placement drive.

The minimum eligibility criteria required by the IIM Mumbai for admission to MBA courses is candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories].

IIM Mumbai offers financial assistance in the form of financial assistance to PhD scholarships. During the first and second years of the PhD, students get INR 37,000 per month. Additionally, during the third, fourth and fifth years of the programme students receive INR 42,000 per month as a stipend.

To apply for the various scholarships offered at IIM Mumbai, students need to visit the official website of the institute. IIM Mumbai provides various government-aided scholarships to PhD scholars. The links for all of the scholarship portals are made available on the site. Applicants can fill out the form and go through the procedure as specified by the guidelines of the concerned authority.

Stay in hostels is not mandatory in IIM Mumbai. It's depends on you if you don't want to take hostel, then you can live outside but I think in IIM Mumbai, for some courses like PGDIE, PGDIM hostels are compulsory. In other cases students may or may not opt for hostel. You also check the other details on the internet about hostels of IIM Mumbai.

IIM Mumbai, formerly NITIE, offers different programs with different fee structures. The MBA programme costs INR 21 Lacs for two years. The Online MBA programme fee is INR 15 Lacs that is payable in two installments: INR 7.22 Lacs in the first year and INR 6.78 Lacs in the second. The PGDEx-VLFM Programme conducted jointly with IIT Delhi totals INR 16.32 lakh. This programme is available at INR 15 Lacs through an annual payment facility or INR 16 Lacs under the module-wise payment arrangement.
