The total tuition fee ranges between INR 75,000 - INR 3.55 lakh. This fee is calculated as per data available on unofficial sources and hence is subject to changes. In addition, the total seat intake for PhD courses as per past years' records is nearly 165.

IIT Bombay offers an MBA course through the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM). Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria and have a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) score can fill out the IIT Bombay MBA application form online (som.iitb.ac.in). After registration, login with the credentials, i.e., login ID and password. Further, fill out the application and upload the important documents. The form is then successfully submitted after payment of INR 1,600 as the application fee.

Candidates of all the MTech specialisations get campus placements. In the 2022 placements, 523 students were placed and a 90% placement percentage was achieved. The M.Tech CSE branch is further one of the popular branches. Moreover, as per a consolidated report, the average package offered in 2022 was INR 22.7 LPA (domestic) and INR 60.9 LPA (international).

Yes, IIT Bombay offers a four-year BTech in eight specialisations. Admission to these programmes is based on merit in JEE Advanced. Only the students who pass JEE main can take the advanced exam. The aspirants who furher meet the cutoff criteria can participate in JoSAA counselling.

The institute offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to a maximum of 25% of the sanctioned intake of UG and MSc students. Facilities of Free Messing is also available to SC/ ST students under which they get an exemption from paying the tuition fees. In addition, the Office of the Dean Alumni & Corporate Relations manages the Named scholarship endowed by the alumni of the Institute and other wellwishers.
