    The institute offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to a maximum of 25% of the sanctioned intake of UG and MSc students. Facilities of Free Messing is also available to SC/ ST students under which they get an exemption from paying the tuition fees. In addition, the Office of the Dean Alumni & Corporate Relations manages the Named scholarship endowed by the alumni of the Institute and other wellwishers.     IIT Bombay MBA is a two-year course spread across eight terms. In the first year, students acquire knowledge on all the disciplines of management through 23 rigorous courses.     IIT Bombay offers merit-based scholarships. The scholarship is offered based on the performance of the students in the semester exam. Approximately 20% of the students are beneficiaries of the various scholarships are from various endowment funds. Additionally, a few other scholarships are available centrally from IIT-B. Besides, SC and ST candidates are exempted from paying the tuition fees.
