Since you want to change your field, so I would recommend you to learn programming languages and subjects like Operating System, Data Structure and Algorithm, Computer Networks, etc. If you pursue BCA, then it would be better.

Hi,
I am not sure if B.Sc mathematics students can opt for M.Sc pharmacy but a big yes to MCA. You can go for it if you really like computer, coding and computing. I think there is an entrance exam to be cleared for opting MCA.

Candidates must be holding graduation degree i.e. BCA/B.Sc (Hons.) Candidates must have studied Mathematics or Statistics or equivalent subject during graduation degree. General category candidates need to score at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA score in aggregate of all subjects. The Eligibility for this Course is, one has to complete his/her Bachelor's degree with Mathematics with least 55% aggregate marks. A Candidate can also apply for NIT MCA Common Entrance Test, a National Level Test which is conducted by NITs for admission in to their MCA programme. Yes, definitely it is a good option, if you get call from St. Xavier, then go for it and if you had better option, then this then go for that one.
