JEE Advanced Scores

Hi,
The admission for NITs is only dependent on your JEE main scores.
Even if you don't appear or don't qualify JEE Advanced you can get admission at NITs with your JEE main scores.
The required score for JEE Advanced depends on cut off marks and that will be officially announced later.
You can apply for counselling through www.josaa.nic.in

Following are the good colleges accepting JEE Advanced scores:
1. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology
2. Indian institute of Science
3. Indian institute of Science Education and Research
4. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology

Well, cutoff seems to vary every year so it's quite tough to predict but however, if you score around 110-120 in advance you will get any IITs.

No. Rank of JEE Mains does not change after Advanced. It remains the same always.

IIT - B is the premier institutions amongst IIT. The topper of 2016 opted for this. The closing ranks in different branches differ staggeringly. But, if you want to get admission in any branch, you must have to get the rank below 2K, but if you need specific branch, then you must have rank of 50/ 100.

IISc Bangalore, shortlists candidates based on vacancies available in different categories of students. This is done based on Common rank list. Last year cutoffs declared for SC was 1200.
