You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.

Yes, candidates scoring less than JEE Main cutoff can participate in JEE Main counselling. Candidates must note that JEE Main cutoff is meant to shortlist candidates for appearing in JEE Advanced. The admission of candidates in NITs and other particpating institutes is based on All India Rank of candidates in JEE Mains.

Visit official JEE Mains website and look for NTA helpline desk, explain situation properly then provide application no. and roll no.

Then provide evidence like attendance sheet or photo with the exam venue. NTA will take care. Then you can prepare for 2nd session.

If your JEE Mains score is 855235, you might have trouble enrolling into a highly competitive branch.

JEE Main qualification is not a compulsion to attend counselling session. Students who have taken the exam can appear for counselling despite they may or may not achieve the required cutoff ranks.

Candidates who qualified for the JEE Main test can appear for this crucial phase of the admissions process. Details of the counselling will be published on the official website of JoSAA. This makes everything very transparent and clear to each and every student. The interested candidate has to complete the registration process within the stipulated time to secure a seat for counselling. This will lead to admissions to some of the most prestigious institutions, like GFTIs, IIITs, and NITs. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority shall do counselling in six rounds, giving adequate options to candidates.
