You can get a seat in few lower NITs but depends on which branch you want.

BC stands for Backward Classes and OBC stands for Other Backward Classes. Government gives more reservation to BC than OBC. Otherwise, the privilege given to both communities are same in our society. Second thing there are two options in it type 1 and type 2. if you have selected type 1 then it will be treated as general and type 2 as obc. If its showing general then you can't apply for IIT as you are not eligible for JEE advance because you haven't cleared the cut-off.

From the past cut offs there is a high chance of acquiring the seat in 2nd round counselling. But as everytime the cut off changes it is better to keep a second option.

It is not possible for you to get admission in top NITs or IIITs. There are chances that you might get admission in any of the NITs that are not top institutes. To check in which college or NIT you can get a seat, use the college predictor tool:

Yes, you can get admission in SASTRA University with this score in JEE Mains, but you will get lower branches only like civil, electrical, electronics, etc.
