It's not possible for you to get admission in any of the NITs with 73 percentile. I would suggest you check out the college predictor tool:

Hello Suman,
Your scores are good to secure a seat at SSN College of Engineering. There are two modes of admission, one is through TNEA counselling and one via management quota. TNEA requires a good board exam scores while Management requires both. If you go via TNEA the chances are a bit low.

There is no chance of getting a seat in NIT with this percentile even for an OBC category candidate.

If you have not cleared JEE Mains then you have chances of pursuing an engineering degree from most respected universities like BITS, VIT, SRM, SASTRA and many more state engineering colleges conducting entrance exams like EAMCET, WBJEE, MH-CET, COMEDK, etc.
Do not worry about JEE Mains. if you do well in above-mentioned exams, you can get a good college.

Yes, if you have your ST category certificate then you will get a good NIT. You have to file up your ST category proof with your documents.

You have no chance in IIIT Gwalior at this rank. IIIT Gwalior is a very good college and it needs rank below 30K in general category. Therefore, in OBC, it will be below 10K.
