Since you are not from Delhi region, it is going to be tough competition for you, the minimum marks that you should score for getting the branch automotive engineering is around 160 in JEE Mains examination, if you want branch like CS, then you should score above 200 to be on the safe side now after getting your result you have to apply for the JAC counselling to get admitted.

Hello Bhumika,As you are aware, syllabus for JEE Mains is same as CBSE syllabus for class 12th. Hence, I would like to advise you that please go through the books prescribed by CBSE. Then you can search the NET and you will be flooded with names of different books. All will boast of producing students who cleared this exam. Take your pick. However what is most important is to study regularly and with full concentration. Best wishes.

First of all, if you want to crack JEE Mains, then you need to solve as many question as you can, it's not that you solve from particular book or not. And, it is even not that previous year questions will come, so it's better to solve 3-4 previous year full length paper, so that you can understand what type of questions will come. Now, after that start solving questions from anywhere, do it for half a month then start solving full length paper with your stopwatch on (solve all 90 questions) like this you will be able to get your problem solving speed with accuracy. Good luck.
