As per the new eligibility criteria only those students will be eligible for appearing in JEE Mains whose score is more than 75% (for general category) and 65% (for SC/ST students). If you aren't eligible, apply for Improvement exams and you have to appear for all five subjects. Hope you got your answer.

There will not be any problem if you give JEE for 3rd time, but focus on your studies properly as this will be going to laat chance for you. Also, you will not be eligible for writing JEE Advanced this time. Hope you got your answer.

It will not effect your placements if you have dropped 2 years for JEE Mains. Just give your best performance in your college results. Learn skills properly and everything will be fine. I hope you got your answer.
