In case you don't get your desired college, don't settle for some mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of NATA and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 12 marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12 or JEE or NATA. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like VIT, Lovely, SRM, etc. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements. No, once you have locked your choices you would not be able to change them. However, you have the option of freeze, float and slide once you get any seat in any round. (A) Freeze: Candidates accept the offered seat and indicate that they are content with the allocated academic programme and that they do not want to participate in further rounds of seat allocation. Such candidates will NOT be considered in subsequent rounds of admission. (B) Float: Candidates accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to an academic programme of better/higher preference in any Institute is offered, they will accept it. Else, they will continue with the currently accepted academic programme. Such candidates will be considered in
subsequent rounds of admission. (C) Slide: Candidates accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission
to an academic programme of better / higher preference is offered within the same Institute, they will accept it. Such candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.
