Hello,
Well, the JEE Mains exam and also the results are done. I wish the results are as per desired. Now, as the marks and ranks are in your hand, the question is how to get admission into Tezpur University.
There are two ways to get into Tezpur University engineering department.
The popular JoSAA counseling
If you are a resident of North East India, you have the privilege of applying separately for admission in this institute. The reason being, that 60% of the total engineering seats are reserved for NE students, the rest for all India.
In both the cases, JEE marks or ranks is only considered. Statewide exams will not help any way.

Hi Archana,
I am not sure that tou can get admission in JIIT sec 62, but in some low rank courses like biotech, ECE or IT, you may get it. You can also get admission here through management quota. So try at least once by going to college. Best of luck.

Hey Darshan,
JEE marks are not applicable here. Admission is only through counselling based on the rank obtained in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET).
So apply fast to get in there. Best of luck.

Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET). If seats remaining vacant will be filled through institute-level counseling based on the rank obtained in JEE-MAINS.

Hello dear, your rank is decent, and it's sure that you will be getting government Colleges in Bengal. The ECE branch is good, I prefer you to go for it.
