With this rank, you might get admission in SMVDU in mechanical engineering. But, you can try to get admission. There are many options to get admission. You can get admission by management quota you can go with that.

Usually for NITs and SPA, rank below 3000 are getting seats. We cannot give 100 percent confirmation based on previous stats. So, it is better to keep options as back up and look for NIT and SPA as first option.
