First of all, congrats, and you have decided superior colleges.
If interested in computer to for NIT, and if not interested, go for IIT Kanpur. Mechanical and CSE are both the fields of different route. NIT CSE will be good. Moreover, you specified IIIT Allahabad IT, it is again a very good choice. All the options are good. Just see the curriculum and go for your interest.
Good luck.

Hello,
I hope you are doing well. As you said, you are not going to get any NIT but you want semi government college. So, let me tell you that this will be a very difficult task with this rank to get the semi government college. You can try for college level counselling if you have good marks in 12th. There will be a minute chance that you will get a seat hardly.
All the best.

I'm an ex-Allen student. All the IIT-JEE coaching institutes of kotak focuses on IIT Advance and not on IIT Mains. IIT Mains is completely based on NCERT material and CBSE makes the question paper whereas IIT Adv. Syllabus is very different and Ex IIT faculty makes the question paper.

There are many good college. If talking about Government College, then it will be IIT, IIIT, NIT, then state level government college under WBJEE UPSEE etc. DU campus and BITS is also very good college in terms of faculty members. Now, talking about the private go for SRM, VIT, MIT, UPES, ICFAI, KIIT etc. All are good. If you want computer Science, then you can choose any one from above following college. Best of luck.

Hello Gopinath,
Your performance in JEE Mains is not good so think whether you are really interested in engineering or have taken it casually if no then take a gap and prepare well for next year. However B.Sc. Is not that good in comparison to B.Tech, as B.Tech has immense opportunities.
All the best.

Hello Aman,
Your marks are too low to get admission in any NIT, so look forward for any other college.
All the best.
