For SC category, this is not a bad score. But I am not sure that you can get a good college with this score. So, you may try in the counselling round.

Hello Sourabh,
As you belong to general category, it is difficult to get a good college with just 74 marks. So, you may try to get admission via any other entrance exams or your board exam marks.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview based on score obtained in JEE Mains and academic merit. If you havent appeared for JEE Mains you will not be applicable to get into Dayalbagh Educational Institute for B.Tech in mechanical engineering.
Final Selection for this course is mentioned below:
Admission is based on the marks obtained in class 10th, 12th, JEE Mains and personal interview.
Selection criteria and weightage:
Class 10th - 5%
Class 12th - 60%
JEE Mains - 15%
Personal Interview - 20%
