Sorry to say, but admission/ application forms are already closed through JEE Mains marks (except through JoSAA if you get the seat it's your luck).
You can either go for management quota and drop a year and prepare very well for the next time.
Your board's marks are good so you can easily drop a year without pressure of your board exam.

CBSE syllabus, material and exam pattern makes students to analyze the concepts clearly than state board because of this reason the state board students feel difficulty in JEE.

Hi,
It is very difficult to get a seat at any of the NITs with a rank of 1,05,740 in JEE main. Maybe you can get on the basis of your home state rank (ranks for the students who are in the same state of NIT) but I think the chances are low for that too.
If your category rank is below 8000 only then you can get any NIT.

You can go for the PGCET counselling and if you get the allotment you can get the seat or else you can go for direct admission if you have a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in your graduation with all the subjects cleared.

No, if you are doing diploma in mechanical engineering you cannot apply for IIT or NIT because it has stopped taking any lateral entry admission and if you have done your 12th then you can surely apply for the JEE mains advanced.

Hi Gayathri,
The cutoff varies every year according to the number of students applying for examination and number of seats available. It would be advisable that you get in touch with college authorities/official page directly for accurate cutoff.
