Hello
Greetings from Shiksha. If you have a reserved category then try for top NITs else go for the bottom check the opening and closing ranks of nits through josaa.nic.in through which you can easily confirm if you r branch oriented then keep all the nits with that branch try for IIITs also with the same branch.

Yes, for sure.
You can get private colleges. To have more no. of colleges and universities you can check JoSSA's website and check out the last year's opening and closing of CSE ranks and get the approximate overview that which one would be best suited for you.

If this 19k is your general rank, then you will easily get IIIT
but if 19k is your OBC rank, then I am sorry to say but it will not help you to get into IIITs because your rank in OBC category is 19k, so your general rank is somewhere in 1 lakhs.

Board marks are not used from this year to get into NITs. Check out the college predictor like Shiksha's college predictor or else check the josaa.nic.in link to know the opening and closing ranks of NITs, IIITs which will help you a lot.
Good luck.

I think she cannot get into NITs, confirm it by checking the closing and opening ranks of institutes at josaa.nic.in. She can try for some private universities like LPU, SRM, etc. for CSE. You can also check Shiksha's college predictor which might help you. Good luck.
