A general rank of 11000 -12000 can fetch you OBC rank under 4000. You can assume yourself as well because generally 30 percent of students are OBC out of each 100%.

You should try HNBGU through CSAB counselling. It is a central university and fee is also very less there (around 11K per semester). It is amongst top 10 largest universities of India in terms of student intake.

I think IIIT, Allahabad is will be good for you .You will get Top NITs but IIIT, Allahabad IT is far better than almost all the NITs. You will never regret after joining this college. From placement to coding culture, everything is very good there.

You can sit for JEE exam but you cannot apply for counselling of NITs. As per the JOSAA scheme, you need atleast 75% in your 12th to be eligible for the counselling of NIT's.
