Which board? If CBSE then your marks are low for IIT, NIT and IIIT. A minimum of 75% required for these for a CBSE board student.

Hello Dheeran,
You need to score at least 75% marks in your board exams. Otherwise, even if you qualify JEE Main and Advanced, you cannot get any NIT or IIT.
So ,you cannot get any NIT or IIT as you have only 71% marks.

Probably you may fetch a seat as some colleges have their closing rank near the rank you have secured.
All the best.

1000 for general and OBC boy students and 500 for all category girl students and 600 for SC, ST, and PWD Students for only paper 1 or paper 2. If you want to give both papers, then you have to pay Rs. 1800.

Dear,
Firstly, you need to check yourself whether your 50 percent marks in class 12th are good enough to pursue engineering. Isn't your foundation is below than average?
Engineering is not the only option for success in life.
All the best

You don't have any chance if you belong to general or OBC category. For getting CSE in Thapar University, you should score more than 200 marks in JEE Mains

As the cut-off marks vary every year, it will be difficult to tell. I would suggest you to contact the college authority directly for the exact information.

Hello Jaswinder,
You have managed to score very well in your boards and JEE Mains. So, you should go for B.Tech only. However, considering your score, you will easily get colleges like LNMIIT, NMIT, Thapar Univ. and JIIT-Noida. You may also get lower NITs in the last phase of counselling. Check here for more insights.
