That's not certain with marks less than 200, you would get MANIT. But still there are chances in fourth or fifth round, you may get your preferred option. If you are MP domicile it would fit you a lot. So fill your counselling form wisely.

As of last year's stats (2016), you can definitely bag a seat in CBIT.
The fees of the JEE Mains seat and convenor quota seat is same.

I don't see how dropping a year will help you. You will need a minimum of 75% to be eligible for JEE and BITSAT. Check with your school and CSBE for improvement exams and related conditions. You can also check other colleges and polytechnics which can accept your score and resume your studies.

You must check their website for latest terms and conditions. Previously, it was possible to get admission on the basis of JEE Mains score, but the only condition was, you should have scored well comparatively.

They can apply mathematical and statistical techniques to solve problems.
In computer science and engineering, students cannot go for higher mathematics research.

CBSE doesn't release any seperate home state ranking, admission is done via all India ranking only. However, you will get some grace in your home state colleges.

For admission in COEP, you need to appear for MHT-CET. COEP doesn't consider your JEE Mains score. However, for COEP, you need to score more than 160 marks in MHT-CET to get any branch there. So look forward to next year if you are inclined for this college only.
