Firstly, if you belong to a reserved category then surely you will get NIT. For general category candidates, the cut-off is 200 and for reserved categories, it is between 150 and 180.

NSIT is the only engineering college under DU and admission in undergraduate programmes in engineering is based on JEE Mains score.

You need to analyse whether you can drop one year or not. If you can manage that, try next year with better planning and dedication. And if you can't, there are obviously some good private colleges that you can look up.
