Dear,
Dropping one year is not a wise decision. 159 is good enough score. I think you will get good NIT with your desired stream. Best wishes.

Admission in all the best Engineering Colleges ( IIT Delhi, DTU, NSIT, IIIT, etc ) is by JEE Mains and JEE Advanced results. You have options to appear in GGSIPU CET for Engineering to take admission in GGSIPU affiliated engineering colleges.

Hi, First of all congratulations if you are expecting 236 marks in JEE. I am sure you would get a very good ranking and also a good college.

There's almost negligible chance even for SC/ST reservation students opting for Northeastern Quota. At least from last year.

Sorry, your score is too low to get you a government college. Either give it a chance next time or go for some private institutions.

No, never. You can try RTU colleges with those marks if you want Government colleges. Otherwise, you should go for private colleges.

Hello Arghya,
Your rank of 84K is quite enticing. It's in zone where everything depends on how others apply. You seem to have reasonably ok chance. I am attaching a link that will predict college for you.
