Rishabh dropping an year won't be a good idea. there is no surety that next year you would get a better rank.
Try for admission in some good private universities that are imparting quality education to the students around the world. They offer you admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria.
Most of them are a great recruitment hub for companies these days.
Check the websites of some good universities or call on their toll free no.s for more details.
Good luck.

Apart from this, try for private universities like LPU, CU, Rayat Bhara etc in your state. All these are giving good placements to students along with quality education.
LPU is even offering good scholarships.
Good luck.

Rahul, with these marks you can hope of getting seat in some of the NITs but may be not in a branch of your choice.
But yes with these good marks in 12th you can get direct admission in many private universities. Most of the private universities have made a name for themselves in field of education as well as placements. Some of them even offer scholarships.
Check the websites for more details.
Good luck.
