Well as per past data, you can get a seat for sure if you are from State Board. In case of CBSE/ICSE that's not a sure thing or if you'll get one then it will be NIT's of lower ranks.
Also the branch and college you will get depends on how efficient you're while filling choice.
If you didn't do it correctly then chances of getting a good college with good stream will reduce to a great extent.

Shantanu !Getting in government institute with this score is tough call as their cut off is little high but you can get admission in premier private colleges and thereby availing high scholarship by scoring good score in their entrance examination.These institutes conducts their own examination and give scholarship based on your rank in their exam.here are some of the top institutes where you may apply for admission :

The score may be enough for SC category, but of course your choice of branch also matters a lot. Try for a branch you like, if you don't get in there are other colleges also as good as MNIT. All the best

In present time there is very hard competition in any field to get a job , if you want to do engg then ranking of college very important and also determine the your future so best college is very important and there is very few college in private sector , as your marks not so good , I would suggests that you can do diploma in engg which offer govt. and private job with handsome salary at very low cost
