LPU JEE Main cutoff for BTech typically sits around 80 percentile for general category, based on recent trends for high-demand branches like CSE. This opens doors to innovative curriculum with strong industry ties, hands-on projects, and solid placement outcomes the highest packages crossing 50 LPA last year. Pros include practical training; cons, competitive seats push scores higher yearly.

Yes; you can easily get admission at Lovely Professional University. For MCA, JEE is not required; your graduation matters more, and LPU has a flexible admission process.

With 93.95 percentile in JEE Main (EWS category), your rank is around 65,000–70,000, which gives you realistic chances in newer NITs, some IIITs, and state government colleges.
🎓 Government Colleges You Can Target
- Newer NITs: NIT Agartala, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, NIT Manipur, NIT Srinagar – possible for branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and sometimes IT/ECE.
- IIITs: IIIT Una, IIIT Bhagalpur, IIIT Kottayam, IIIT Ranchi – CSE/ECE may be possible in later rounds.
- State Government Colleges: Through Rajasthan REAP, UPSEE, Maharashtra CAP, Andhra Pradesh EAPCET – strong chance for CSE/IT/ECE.

With a 70 percentile in JEE Main (General category) and being from Andhra Pradesh (AP), here's a clear picture of your admission chances:
What 70 Percentile Means
- Approximate rank: 3,00,000 – 4,50,000.
- NITs/IIITs via JoSAA: Not possible, since even the lowest cutoffs for Civil/Mechanical in newer NITs close around 2–2.5 lakh.
- Government colleges in AP: You can still get admission through AP EAPCET (state counseling), where JEE Main rank is also considered for some seats.
Options in Andhra Pradesh
1. Government Colleges (via Andhra Pradesh EAPCET Counseling)
- JNTU Kakinada, JNTU Anantapur, AU College of Engineering (Visakhapatnam).

JoSAA (NIT/IIIT/GFTI): ❌ Not possible.
State Govt Colleges (REAP Rajasthan): ✅ Possible, but mostly in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical.
Private Universities: ✅ Strong chance for CSE/IT/ECE.
👉 My advice:
Fill REAP AND OTHER STATES counseling for Rajasthan government colleges (you may get Civil/Mechanical/Electrical).
Apply to private universities in Jaipur (VGU, JECRC, Amity, Poornima) if you want CSE/IT.
Keep both routes open so you don't miss out.

NIT Puducherry BTech admissions are highly unlikely with 75 percentile in JEE Main, especially for the General category. The institute sees a high cutoff for BTech's All India Quota. With 75 percentile, admission may be possible for reserved categories. Students can check the last year cutoff to know more.

JECRC Foundation offers seats to candidates via REAP Counselling based on JEE Main scores of the aspirants. The preference is given to candidates with JEE Main scores. Once the seat is allotted, aspirants need to report at the college campus for document verification and fee payment.
