- *NITs:* NIT Patna, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Allahabad, NIT Bhopal, NIT Calicut

- *Next Steps:* Check JoSAA website for cutoff ranks and participate in counseling for seat allocation.

With a 96 percentile in JEE Mains and EWS quota, you have a strong chance of getting CSE or Electronics in state-level engineering colleges and some NITs like NIT Raipur, NIT Nagaland, or NIT Goa, depending on the final cutoffs. You may also target IIITs such as IIIT Nagpur, IIIT Bhagalpur, or IIIT Una where EWS seats are available. It's recommended to participate in JoSAA counselling, explore CSAB rounds, and apply to private universities like SRM or Manipal for backup.

This rank is not very good so, if you want to apply then, you can apply in some of the Private colleges. Also, some of the private colleges which comes under WBJEE is also quite good.

Also, you should check College predictor of the Shiksha as it can suggest you the best college.

Firstly, you need to understand how percentile is calculated it is calculated on the basis of no of Candidates in a specific shift & marks scored by them, the percentile describes about you performed better than how many students.

In your case, according to your percentile your JEE Mains score should be between 37 to 47 marks out of 300 which means you performed better than 70.111% students in your shift.
