In order to retrieve the JEE main intimation slip log in to official JEE main portal @ jeemain.nta.nic.in Find the link that relates to, JEE (Main) City Intimation Slip under candidate activities. Your slip would have to be logged onto and downloaded using your application number and birthday (or password). Intimation slip gives you prior information about your exam date and exam city but it does not give specific address of the exam center this will be mentioned in the admit card however with this knowledge you can arrange your travel plans.

With a score of 196 out of 300 in JEE Mains you can expect your percentile score to be 97-98 percentile which is based on cutoff analysis & percentile determining formula used by NTA. 196 out of 300 is a good score you can get good NITs with popular branches like Computer Science Engineering. The exact percentile varies depending upon the marks scored by candidates in a specific shift and the difficulty of exam in that shift.

With a 96 percentile in JEE Mains as an OBC female candidate, you have a good chance of getting into NIT Surathkal, but it might depend on the specific branch and the cutoff trends for that year. While you might not get into highly competitive branches like Computer Science, other branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical could be achievable.
