Yes,  you can apply for B.Tech at TMU without taking JEE Main exam. Admission at TMU is based on both merit and entrance exams. The university conducts it's own entrance exam called TRAT and generates a merit list based on the scores obtained in exam. 

Additionally, TMU also accepts national-level entrance exams such as CUET-UG, JEE Main, UPCET, etc. For admission to specific courses. 

To be eligible for TMU B.Tech, you must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Maths & Chemistry (or computer Science), and have passing marks in English too this are some tips.

A minor spelling mistake in your mother's name on the JEE Mains application form is likely not a major issue. If the misspelling is minor, it should not cause any problems. Check the official JEE Mains website to see if there is a correction window open for the application form. If there is, try to correct the spelling during that period.
