The candidate should have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Class 12th or any equivalent course. While for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the aggregate percentage should be 40% in Class 12th or any equivalent course. This is the only JoSAA 2023 reservation for SC candidates that they must make note of.

Absolutely yes! It is possible to change your Certificate from OBC-CL to OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) category at the time of JoSAA counseling. However, you will need to have the required documents and follow the prescribed procedure to do so. To change your category, you will need to provide a valid OBC-NCL Certificate issued on or after 1st April of the ongoing year. It is important to note that any changes made to your category or documents during the JoSAA counseling process will be subject to verification and approval by the competent authorities. If this Certificate is in a language readable by the authorities, they'll accept it. I've seen my friends submitting their state format certificates without any issue. So don't worry it's accepted almost everywhere.

Yes, They do! These certificates are verified and signed digitally so they're accepted everywhere but some colleges I've seen, they ask for Original ones. You can get a copy of the same from CBSE duplicate certificates website.

Dear Aspirant as you're qualified for both, then surely you should keep IITs on top choices and then NITs even if you got not so good ranks. There is no harm in doing this and you never know your luck! All the best!

You may have the option to make changes to your category during the JoSAA counselling process, but it ultimately depends on the rules and regulations set by the counselling authorities. It is best to check the JoSAA website and keep yourself updated on any updates or announcements regarding the counselling process. Additionally, it is important to make sure that all documents you submit during the counselling process are accurate and up-to-date to avoid any complications or issues.

A percentile of 68.8 in JEE Mains indicates that you have scored more than 68.8% of the total candidates who appeared for the exam. However, it is difficult to determine your admission chances based solely on your percentile as admission depends on various factors such as your category, previous academic record, choice of college, and availability of seats, among others. You can use your JEE Mains percentile to shortlist colleges that you are eligible for and that offer courses that interest you. You can also check the previous year's cutoffs of various colleges to get an idea of the minimum score required for admission. Additionally,
