CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) and JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) are both involved in the seat allocation process for engineering admissions in IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other GFTIs. However, via JoSAA seat are allotted to all available seats in IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other GFTIs. But via CSAB seat is allotted only at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other GFTIs against the vacant seats left after JoSAA counselling last round based on JEE Main scores.

During the counseling process, JoSAA considers various documents, including mark sheets, as part of the verification process. If you do not have your mark sheet at the time of counseling, it may affect your chances of getting a seat in the desired institute. However, JoSAA provides a specific time period within which candidates can submit their documents. If you are unable to produce your mark sheet at the time of counseling, you can submit it within the given timeframe. It is important to note that the admission process is highly competitive, and meeting all the requirements, including providing the necessary documents, is crucial. Th

During the counseling process, candidates are required to provide their academic credentials, including mark sheets and certificates. JoSAA considers these documents as essential requirements for the admission process. Therefore, candidates who do not have their mark sheets at the time of counseling may face difficulties in the admission process. However, in some cases, provisional mark sheets may be accepted by JoSAA. It is important to note that the decision to accept provisional mark sheets is solely at the discretion of JoSAA. You can check the official website of JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) to see the list of participating institutes and the courses offered by them. If NIT Surathkal is a participating institute and offers B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence, it should be included in the JoSAA choice filling process.

There are a few easy procedures you must take in order to update your date of birth in JoSAA counselling. Visit the official JoSAA website first, then log in with your credentials. You must choose the "Edit Registration" option after logging in. The "Edit" button should be clicked next to your date of birth on the "Personal Information" tab after you have chosen that tab. The change in date of birth will need to be justified, and you'll need to produce a copy of the supporting documentation as proof. The JoSAA counselling registration form will be updated with the modifications after the proof has been validated.

Congratulations for scoring such great percentile in MHT CET 2021. With this high percentile, you can easily get admission in some of the top colleges in the state. There are chances that you may get admission in some of the top colleges for CS/IT sparing the top 2 or 3. As you are OBC, your chances of securing a better college improve as well. I still recommend you try for CAP rounds as well as NONCAP rounds as well for the below colleges. If you don't get any of the below colleges for CS/IT, do not leave IIIT Kotak
Here is a list of some of those colleges:
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology
College of Engineering, Pune
Walchand College
