You can't change it in any counselling but you can correct it during correction window opened by NTA after some time of application form deadline.

You can, but you have to eligible for that, Qualified in JEE Advanced 2022 for academic programs [excluding the preparatory courses] at IITs and ISM. Qualified in JEE Advanced 2022 for preparatory courses at IITs and ISM.

With the options available we have to make a choice either to go into top 5 NITs which include NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Surathkal, NIT Allahabad, NIT Surat or take Computer Science Engineering in one of the rest NITs.

With this rank, there are very less chances of getting a seat in any IIITs or NITs in case you belong to General Category. But still, with the benefit of Home State Quota, if possible, you might have marginal chances of securing a lower branch seat in lower IIITs or lower NITs. But the chances are less than 5%.

No. you don't have to submit any Caste or Category Certificate in case you belong to General Category. If you are from EWS Category, then you have to give proof of Income but in all other cases all candidates who don't have Caste Certificate are by default General Candidates.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (or JoSAA is a National Agency responsible for conducting the JEE Mains counselling process for 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST, 26 IIITs and 29 other GFTIs. So through this process, JEE Mains applicants get admission to various Top Engineering Institutes of the country.
