Try for your home state government colleges. Other state will have very low chance for getting good branch.

For the academic year 2021-22, AKTU has announced that admission to undergraduate engineering programs will be done through JEE Main 2021 score and the counseling will be conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Therefore, there will be no separate counseling held for UPSEE for admission to engineering programs in the academic year 2021-22.

To fill the remaining seats of NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. There are some special rounds after JoSAA counselling conducted by CSAB in which students can get a good college and branch even with poor rank. For Example MNNIT Allahabad had closing rank 2751 for CSE for General in JoSAA last round. But in CSAB round closing rank was 4761 for the same.

It depends on your priorities and the colleges you have applied for. If you have applied for engineering courses and have got a seat through JoSAA counseling, then you may prefer to take that seat over the one you got through OJEE counseling. However, if you have applied for other courses like management or pharmacy and have secured a seat through OJEE counseling, then you may prefer to take that seat. In any case, it is recommended that you carefully evaluate your options and make an informed decision based on your interests, career goals, and the reputation of the colleges. You should also check the deadlines for acceptance of seats

JoSAA conducts multiple rounds of counselling, and you can participate in subsequent rounds to try and get allotted a seat in the participating institute of your choice. If you still do not get a seat during the regular rounds of JoSAA counselling, you can apply for the special round. The special round is the final round of counselling, where vacant seats are filled based on the availability of seats.

Yes, if you have qualified in JEE Advanced 2023 or JEE Main 2023 and want to secure admission to the participating institutions (IITs, NITs, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs), it is mandatory to register for JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. JoSAA is responsible for the centralized counselling and seat allocation process for all the participating institutes based on the rank obtained by the candidates in JEE Advanced 2023 or JEE Main 2023. The entire admission process, including the allocation of seats, acceptance of seats, and reporting to the allotted institute, is done through JoSAA.

Yes, it is very possible that a candidate's name appears on more than one rank list. It depends on the candidate's category and physical disability status, along with his or her performance in the entrance exam. It is important to note that the counselling process is based on the candidate's All India Rank (AIR) or Common Rank List (CRL) as per the respective rank list. The counselling process follows the order of priority of the rank lists, which is specified by JoSAA.
