The eligibility of AMIE is that you should have a diploma with a minimum aggregate of 45%.
The AMIE advantage is that it is considered equivalent to B.E/B.Tech. The government recently announced this.
So you don't have to worry about the jobs as you will get awesome jobs after you finish the correspondence. However, there is a disadvantage that the entrance exams which ask for 12th marks won't consider diploma students and so AMIE not eligible
But there are few of these. And definitely the courses are valuable as I have mentioned above you c

In an open or distance learning university, a student has choice of selecting any branch. However a word of caution. UGC has not allowed any professional courses to be run via distance education. Hence I would like to caution you before you take the plunge into admission for graduation in engineering via distance learning. Best wishes.

As per my knowledge, you can not get admission anywhere by showing the degree from EIMSR because as per the data available on the internet this particular institute is completely fake there are many people complaining about this institute, though I do not have any valid information about this EIMSR. So I would recommend you to cross-verify your BE (Mechanical Degree).
