If you have genuine interest in the subject, only then you might apply for it as without a Bachelor's in the same course you are not very good with the fundamentals. Thus, it is advisable only if you have genuine interest.

If only you had provided the college or university about which you were talking, better information could have been given. Be that as it may, let me state that in normal college or university session starts from Jul. On the other hand, there are invariably two sessions in open university or in distance learning process.

BA (Hons) English Eligibility:
As a minimum criterion of eligibility, candidates aspiring for admission to the course need to have:
Completed the 10+2 level of education or attained equivalent qualification from a recognised educational Board. Attained a minimum aggregate score of 50% at the 10+2 level, with English as one of the main subjects (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).
