Hi Pragam,
Yes you are right, public colleges are free and highly competitive. Because they are free does not mean you can secure an admission there but the opposite. Extremely high academic marks are required to get into German universities. You must also know that some programs and courses may incur a fee, not all is free. Very minimal tuition fee is required in this case. You can refer to this website and learn more about studying in Germany, the various universities, fees, scholarships etc. https://www.daad.in/en/.

Hello Yukta, I can totally sympathise with you. I understand your angst and desires. Frankly speaking, best course is to talk directly with your mom & dad and explain to them desires. I will give you some ammunition. As per data of HRD ministry, 50% of fresh engineering graduates remain jobless. So what big fun in doing engineering. For the academic year 2017-18, engineering has been displaced by Science as preference for graduation. There are enough opportunities of a job for the experts of english language. You can learn a language course along with schooling but it's not a great idea to go for a job just after you 12th. To get good packages I would suggest you complete your graduation and thereafter you can go for options like a translator or interpreter.
