English skills are improved upon learning communication- listening, reading, writing and speaking. Sound knowledge of putting English grammar to your spoken and writing skills is a must. To develop your English skills, communicate with a person around you who has good command over the language. No matter if you start wrong, the other will correct you. Listening to English news, reading English newspaper aloud, solving scramble and spellathon in the newspaper will help you improve your vocabulary and speaking.

85% marks in English was the eligibility criteria to be able to fill the form, for the General Category for BMC. If you score less than that in English, there isn't much that you can do as it is the basic eligibility criteria. However it was the criteria last year, you can keep checking the college website for the criteria of this year. It might change.
