For some private universities, you are eligible but for government universities such as Delhi University and BHU, you have to score a minimum of 55% to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university.

After completion of BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, your son can apply for Master degree of Journalism and Mass Communication anywhere in India. One thing is there. He has to go through all the admission criteria and processes by the respective universities.

The eligibility for taking admission in Rabindra Bharati University - RBU for MA in Dance is mentioned below: Candidate must have completed M.A. or B.A,(Hons./Spl.) in dance or in any subject with special aptitude in Vocal Music from any UGC recognized University. Since your eligibility is not included in the question if you match the eligibility as above then you can take admission.

As such there is no bar for doing any degree based on gender. Only the difference is that is the university is specifically concerned for women then you cannot pursue any degree. You can check any other university for any degree if you want.
