Basically M.A. and M.Sc. are not much different. The college decides the syllabus so both course can be same. I can't exactly tell the difference between M.A. and M.Sc. Economics until I see the syllabus. Hence, again, all prospects are decided by the authority in question. It is up to the employer that how much salary they offer.

IGNOU website gives detailed descriptions and syllabus lists on its website.
Please note that the website takes the visitors to the respective 'school' page where courses are listed.
You can even email to the head of that department and ask for more details in this context.

The old papers of UGC NET are available online from various websites as well as from UGC and CBSE NET websites. But I wish to share that the format has been changed in the recent years and it is heard that the next UGC NET may be conducted by National Testing Agency and they might change something again.

Hi Submit, Every college has different criteria for admission. Generally, the minimum eligibility criterion required for M.Com course is having a Bachelors in Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks. The admission is generally done through a common entrance test conducted by various universities accordingly. Certain universities also offer merit-based direct admission.
