Hello Uday,
I can understand your angst for missing 50% mark by just few marks. But do not worry. Many universities allow students with 45% marks to appear for entrance exam for admission into PG courses. For NEHU, unfortunately I couldn't locate any such restriction. However I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about NEHU and also helpline number.

Hello Sourav,
For any course of any university, the syllabus and the pattern is designed in such a way that unless you clear 1st year/semester a student can not understand contents of next semester/year. University of course allow ATKT. So if you have not passed any paper of 1st semester then depending on the rules of university, you may be allowed to take exam of both semesters together. This would be given in the conditions of registering for second semester. Best wishes.

Hello Ronda,
I am afraid that what you are proposing is not feasible. You can seek or register for MA only after completion of your BA.
Best wishes.

Hello Shreya, Aah good query. You have already completed your M.A. In English. Now you can think of registering yourself for Ph.D. in English. Else you can do M.Phil. Or M.A. In another subject. But over and above this, what is your heart saying? Follow that. I would strongly advise you to follow what fascinates you the most. Best wishes.

Hello Rocky, I can understand your situation. Don't worry. But AICTE for M.A. You mean "All India Council of Technical Education" or something else? Anyway. Just approach private colleges in your city offering M.A. And speak to them about financial assistance. Many will oblige or give you solution. Of course you need to have good academic record for this. Else you can do it via distance education mode from IGNOU or some other University.

Yes, it does. If you are from a different discipline, then the one you are applying for or your marks fall below the direct admission criteria.

No, you cannot. Calcutta University or Jadavpur University doesn't allow a Masters unless you have a honors degree. However, you can try distance education in mass communication.
