Hello Sachin, I think I have answered a similar question recently. M.A. Or M.Sc. In Eco. It's actually a Shakespearean dilemma. But practically after speaking to many prospective employers, I can say with certainty that it does not make much of a difference. Your PG in Economics only matters. That's all.

We have a special cell in BHU that looks after the internship and placements. The University Placement and Coordination Cell takes care that each deserving student gets the industrial exposure. With the completion of the course, students are offered campus placement depending on the performance and capability.

Hi Sonia,
Yes, it's possible. Most of the universities & colleges offering an MA in Geography in India ask for a graduation degree in any field with a minimum of 60% marks (in some cases it's 50%) to sit in the entrance exam conducted by them.
Regards.

I wish to submit a serious thing. One can do a Master's degree in a subject that he has studied in graduation. Apart from MBA or some other courses, it is applicable to all other.
including Geography. I found this at Kurukshetra University.
I guess it's the same at MDU as well. You need to check it out when you approach them for admission.
Regular admissions have already been done. You may find distance education courses.

Mostly, there is no age limit for postgraduate degree programs in India. I personally know working professionals who either take a sabbatical or quit jobs to complete their PG degrees. In fact, a few government organisations (partially or fully) sponsor full-time MBA/M.Tech degrees. So, there is this gentleman known to me who had a work experience of 15+ years when he enrolled for a regular MBA program in the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) that too with 75 % mandatory attendance and in the college uniform.
