Hello Shreyas, Pursuing a Masters degree is a good idea if you are looking for a specialization. You'll have a mix of students in Masters level classroom - students with work experience & domestic student who are pursuing work while studying.

You can opt PhD after MS and after PhD you can pursue post doctoral research or fellowship.

Both MS and M.Sc are similar degree. For example, postgraduate degree in electronics engineering is called MS electronics in USA and M.Sc electronics in Germany. Even in India sometime back PG degree in engineering in few universities was called M.Sc (Engg).

There is no standard formula to calculate 10 point CGPA into 4 point CGPA. However most USA universities may accept standard maths conversion. You USA CGPA will be 2.68
