For M.Sc Zoology, DU & BHU are kind of best universities followed by JNU. You can also opt for integrated M.Sc, Ph.D from various institutes like TIFR, IISER, etc., by clearing various exams.

You will need to wait for your NT rank and the seat distribution matrix. This is because the cutoffs in a reserved category changes every year depending on the number of students applying in that category. Keep checking the DTE website for updates.

Eligibility criteria for M.Sc AMU:
B.Sc (Hons) Physics/B.Sc with Physics as one of the subjects studied in all three years and mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects with not less than 55% marks in
aggregate and not less than 55% in Physics and Mathematics taken together.

After completing M.Sc, you can either take a job as a professor or can study further, complete Ph.D and then work as a mathematician and enter in the research field.
